FORMAT YOUR USB

Ensure that your USB drive is properly formatted and compatible with CDJs. CDJs typically require USB drives to be formatted in FAT32 or exFAT file systems for optimal performance. Before your session, take the time to format your USB drive using your computer's operating system or a dedicated formatting tool. This will prevent compatibility issues and ensure that your USB drive works seamlessly with the CDJs during your session.
KNOW YOUR GOALS

Before the session, take some time to reflect on your goals and what you hope to achieve from the session. Whether it's mastering a specific technique, refining your mixing skills, or learning how to use new equipment, having clear objectives will help you and your instructor make the most of your time together.
BRING YOUR MUSIC

Come prepared with a selection of tracks that you enjoy mixing or want to work on during the session. This could include your favorite songs, tracks you're currently experimenting with, or music that aligns with the genres you're interested in mastering. Having a variety of tracks will allow your instructor to tailor the session to your musical preferences and provide targeted feedback.
